Bulgaria lost the doubles in Belarus in the second Euro-African Group Davis Cup, and then Belarus led 2-1 in the match.
Valentin and Dimitar Kuzmanov fell 2-6, 4-6, 4-6 of Uladzimir Ignatik and Max Mirnyi in the third game between the teams.
The remaining two matches will be played Sunday, but to move to the second round of the Bulgarians will have to win both remaining games.
In the standings ahead of the tournament Bulgaria will meet Hungary, who beat Cyprus 3-0. In case of loss Bulgaria will play the playoffs against Cyprus to remain in the group.
