Nikolay Davydenko and Novak Djokovic have qualified for the second round of the strongest men's tennis tournament in Dubai.

Russian Davydenko managed to defeat Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2, 6-0 and remains confident in the second round of the competition.

Rocket number one on our western neighbors Novak Djokovic, who is seeded two in the main draw, eliminated Frenchman Michel Lyodra after success with a 6-3, 6-3.
