American Andy Roddick won the 30th title in his career after beating Milos Raonich (Canada) with 7:6 (7) 6:7 (11), 7:5 in the finals of the international tennis tournament for men in Memphis (USA ) with a prize fund 1.1 million dollars.
"I was lucky today. More than two and a half hours to dance. I am impressed by the capabilities of Raonich. I think there is great future," said 28-year-old Roddick. Canadian, which is only 20 years, won the title last week in San Jose in his first contribution to the final tournament of the ATP.
The meeting was extremely tight, as in the third set and could lead to tie-break but Roddick won with 7:5. Raonich made 32 aces in the final game and set a record in the tournament with a total of 129 aces her.
