Caroline Wozniacki, who will regain top spot in world rankings on Monday, beat Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova with 6:1, 6:3 in the finals of the tournament in Dubai and won the title.
Dane needed only an hour and 15 minutes to cope with her opponent and won 13 title in his career.
Wozniacki replace Kim Clijsters at the top of world rankings with another victory in the quarterfinals over Shahar Peer.
Kuznetsova, in turn, lost for the third time the final of this tournament since 2004 when he was defeated by Justine Henin and 2008 when Elena Dementieva won the title.
Russian, which deal with the best Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova in the second round of the tournament, will climb to 13 th place in the world rankings.
