Dane Caroline Voznyatski is ranked in the final of tennis tournament in Dubai and will again be No. 1 in world rankings.
20-year Voznyatski, which on Monday will return to first place in the WTA world rankings, four setbola save in the first set and beat No. 6 Jelena Jankovic (Serbia) with 7:5, 6:3.
Two weeks ago Voznyatski was shifted from the top-ranked champion of the Australian Open Kim Clijsters (Belgium). Clijsters is not participating in the race in Dubai.
In the other semifinal later today against each other will face Svetlana Kuznetsova (Russia) and FLAVIA Pennetta (Italy).
