1-seeded Robin Soderling qualified for the semifinals in tennis tournament in Marseille. The Swede won easily by 6:1, 6:4 representative hosts Michael Llodra.
Soderling saved four break points in the first game of the first part, but then won twice in the initial shock and easily took Llodra advance in quarterfinal match.
