Caroline Anna Chakvetadze beat Voznyatski with 6:1, 3:5 and reject the Russian tennis player and qualified for the knockout round of the international tennis tournament for women in Dubai.
So Voznyatski came two wins in the first place in the world rankings for women who lost on Monday by Belgian Kim Clijsters.
Voznyatski which is No. 1 in the tournament circuit, and will become number 1 in the world, if qualified for the semifinals of the tournament in Dubai.
In the second set 23-year-old Russian tennis star Anna Chakvetadze was leading with 5:3, but at one point collapsed on the court. The doctor, a trainer, judge and Voznyatski tried to help Chakvetadze and the match was suspended for seven minutes, after which the Russian
player left the court.
Tournament organizers said the cause of the crisis are Chakvetadze of stomach pains.
In the second round of meeting Jelena Jankovic beat Chanel Shepers with 6:2 and 6:3 and also qualified for the knockout round.
