Canadian youngster Milos Raonich protect rapidly growing fame by beating defending champion Fernando Verdasco 7-6, 7-6 in the final of San Jose.
20-year-old Rocket won the first tournament title in his career, showing a mature and confident game that has made 13 aces and beat a certain Spaniard who is number nine in the world.
"My first major achievement came earlier than expected. It was incredible. I can not stop smiling," said Raonich.
