Vitseshampionat of the Australian Open Andy Murray (Britain) was dropped in the first round of tennis tournament in hall in the Dutch city of Rotterdam with a prize fund € 1,150,000.
Seeded 2 and winner of the race in 2009, Murray lost 4:6, 1:6 by Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis to just 61 minutes.
In his first game after the third lost the final of a Grand Slam Briton started well and quickly lead with two breaks and 3:0. By the end, however, he took only two more games and logically dropped.
"Sometimes you get those games. Serviz my walking, not running well enough, which is essential for fast courts like this," said Murray.
"Maybe I had to take a longer break after heavy Grand Slam in Australia, as I did before. Of course this is not an excuse for my weak game in this match," he added.
In the second round match-seeded Jurgen Melzer of 5 busted after the defeat of Austria with 2:6, 4:6 by Croat Marin Cilic.
The eighth-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France, who in the first round sides Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, qualified for the quarterfinals after success over compatriot Michael Lyodra with 4:6, 6:4, 6:4.
