Former world No 1 Justine Henin of Belgium retired permanently from tennis because of bad elbow injury. Tennis player said in a statement: "Today, medical examinations conducted after it became clear and the doctors agreed that my elbow is too hurt, so I can continue to deal with my work at the highest level and with the same passion." On May 14, 2008 Henin, who won has seven Grand Slam titles, surprisingly announced that it was withdrawing from professional tennis, and plans to devote more time to his family and the things they always dreamed of, but failed to find time. For over a year ago it was clear that there is no intention to return back on the court, but the September 22, 2009, however, decided to return to court. Henin said then that it was inspired by the fact that Roger Federer has won all Grand Slam tournaments, while Kim Clijsters returned successfully in sports and won the "US Open". Henin, who recently aggravate his injury at the elbow, wanted to play tennis at the highest level at least until the London Olympics in 2012.
