Champion in 2008 Novak Djokovic of Serbia lost set, but qualified for the third round of the Australian Open tennis. Third-seeded Djokovic had a 7:5, 6:7 (8), 6:0, 6:2 over Croat Ivan Dodik after more than three hours of play. The first two sets were very contentious, then the Serb took full control of the match against Dodik discharged and given only two games to their opponents. Djokovic ahead, although goals conceded 50 unforced errors. The next opponent of the Serb will be his compatriot Victor Troizk which remove Mayu Nicolas from France with 6:4, 6:2, 1:6, 6:3.
