Swede Robin Soderling won the tournament in Brisbane, after defeating U.S. player Andy Roddick 6:3, 7:5 in the final.
With extreme precision and strong play 26-year-old Swede beat Roddick in the finals veteran Pat Rafter Arena for an hour and 35 minutes.
Soderling, who managed to climb to fifth place in the rankings in 2010, easily took the first set of his opponent. Unlike American-serving Soderling had a clean and lost only three points on serve in the first set and nine for the entire match.
