Leader in the world ranking Rafael Nadal reached the second win in Group A of the tournament on the ATP tennis in London after it beat Serb Novak Djokovic with 7:5, 6:2. This had to be the most robust battle in the final tournament, having met Nadal and No. 3 in the world, "O 2 Arena was sold out completely. Djokovic, however, had vision problems and this prevented him to compete in the Spaniard, informed Thursday.
So Nadal is now much closer to participation in the semifinals after the lead in the standings with two wins. Djokovic and the Czech player Tomas Berdych have one rank and 2-nd and 3 rd place.
In the other match of the group have Tomas Berdych in two sets over Andy Roddick beating him 7:5, 6:3.
From the middle of the first set until the end of the match Djokovic had problems with my eyes and it was prevented to show their real capabilities of the court. It was a clash between the two number 23 players and 16-a victory for Rafa.
"To play with one eye and then against Nadal, apparently was not enough for me," Djokovic explained his defeat by specifying that had irritation of the right eye.
