American tennis player Taylor Dent ended his career. 29-year-old, whose best ranking was into Top 25 rankings of the male, number 21, suffered from various injuries. Dent underwent three operations back in 2006 and 2007, and began where his problems and a decline in the rankings. Nevertheless, he managed to fall back in the top 100 in 2009 and is currently 85th, after 12 wins and 15 losses this season.
In a statement released today by his agent, Dent said he wants to stay in sport and to discover new horizons ... which Tournament schedule has never allowed.
Taylor Dent has 151 wins and 140 losses in his career, and four titles, three of them in 2003. He and his father, Phil Dent, Australian Open finalist from 1974, are the first father-son pair that has a title in the new era of ATP.
