Seeded 2 tennis tournament in Linz for women with a prize fund 200 000 dollars-Daniela Hantuchova (Slovakia), eliminated in the quarterfinals. She gave Patty Schnyder (Switzerland), which will play the semifinals with Andrea Petkovic (Germany).
