Seeded 10 in the main draw of the Masters Series tournament in Shanghai Andy Roddick wins first round in Germany's Philipp Kolshrayber 6-3, 2-1 and denial.
Roddick took control early in the first set, serve as samples of his rival for the lead of 3-1. In the middle of the set Kolshrayber receive medical break to be treated by the physiotherapist in the right thigh. Roddick is not confused by the end of the first part and took it 6-3.
