Vasser is disappointed with Ferrari`s performance in Qatar. Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur summed up the results of the Qatar Grand Prix, noting that the team`s performance on the Lusail circuit had become unacceptable.
At the end of the stage in Qatar, Ferrari pilots scored only 4 points and the team lost its chance to rise above 4th place in the Constructors` Championship.
We do not have any positive conclusions from this weekend. We knew that this weekend would be more difficult than the previous one, but Ferrari failed to find the optimal car settings during the weekend. We had a lot of trouble keeping the cars in their optimal operating range.
Compared to previous weekends, we have taken an obvious step back. Two Grands Prix ago we were on the podium, and this weekend we were fighting for tenth place.
I think the main issue this weekend was the level of tire pressure. Here we had to work with tire pressure levels six points higher than in previous races. And this became the key point.
