Wedgwood on MacKinnon: He wants to win more than anyone else. Colorado goalie Scott Wedgwood shared his thoughts on forward Nathan MacKinnon.
In Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against Vegas (3:5, 0-3), MacKinnon suffered a knee injury. In the second period, the 30-year-old Canadian blocked a shot from Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore. For some time the player could not get up from the ice, but then returned to the bench, refusing the help of his partners. After playing 2 more shifts, he went to the locker room.
In the third period, MacKinnon returned to the ice, but played only 4 shifts, including two in the last 2 minutes. His total playing time was 18:02.

He proves it every time he steps on the ice. He wants to win more than anyone else. This was just another example of that, ” said Wedgwood.
