The FIA has confirmed an increase in protest fees from the 2026 Formula 1 season.
Next year, teams will be forced to contribute 20, 000 euros - 10 times more than in 2025. The amount will be returned to the teams if the protest is satisfied.
Last season, Red Bull lodged two protests against Mercedes driver George Russell - both of which were rejected. Russell, as well as the McLaren team, expressed dissatisfaction with the bulls` tactics.
