Benson said he sees no difference between Colapinto and Duane in Alpine. BBC editor Andrew Benson commented on the reshuffle that Alpin made after the first six races of the 2025 season: Franco Colapinto took the place of Jack Duane.
The second Alpine car has not finished higher than 13th this year, while Pierre Gasly earned 11 points.
It`s too bold to say after three races that the switch didn`t work out, but it`s hard to see any significant difference between the performances of Colapinto and Duane, it`s true.
When executive advisor - de facto team boss - Flavio Briatore promoted Colapinto, he said he had to be fast, avoid accidents and earn points.
