The stewards punished Mercedes with a fine after Andrea Kimi Antonelli collided with Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda.
The incident occurred during third practice before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in the pit lane.
The FIA held Mercedes responsible for the unsafe release of the car from the pits. The team will pay 10, 000 euros.
