Gary Neville reacts to Simons being sent off. Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville spoke about the straight red card of Tottenham midfielder Javi Simons for stepping on the shin of Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk in the Premier League match (0:1, second half).  
Virgil van Dijk is six feet four inches (195 cm) tall and weighs 15 stone (95 kg – Sports). If it had happened the other way around, it could have ended with a broken leg.
Thomas Frank is outraged about this, but none of the Tottenham players are complaining. Those who saw the episode just ask: What are you doing? - Neville said.
