Antonelli finished on the podium three times last season and scored 150 points, finishing in 7th place overall. At the same time, Russell finished the championship in 4th position, scoring 319 points.
Russell is probably one of the top 3 best Formula 1 drivers at the moment. Now he is at the peak of his form. He has experience and is very fast. Last season was probably his best in F1 to date, with very consistent performances. It is very difficult to fight against such a racer.
Russell has shown that when the machine works the way he wants, he is capable of defeating anyone. So it’s difficult to play on the same team with such a partner. But at the same time, it helped me get the most out of myself in an effort to become better, to reach the next level.
