Mekies said goodbye to the Racing Bulls. The new head of Red Bull, Laurent Mekies, said goodbye to his former team, the Racing Bulls, where he worked for a year and a half.
It was Mekies who was chosen by the Red Bull bosses as the new head of the main team - he will replace the fired Christian Horner. In turn, Mekies will be replaced in the Racing Bulls by Alan Permain, who previously served as the team`s sporting director.
It has been an honor to lead the Racing Bulls team with Peter [Bayer] for the last year and a half. Being part of the birth of the team, working alongside so many talented people has been great.
This team has incredible spirit and I firmly believe that this is just the beginning for the Racing Bulls. Alan [Permane] is ideally suited to lead the team and continue our journey. “He knows this team very well from the inside and was an important support for the Racing Bulls when the team was just achieving its first successes, ” Mekies said.
