Brundle pointed out the tremendous speed at which Verstappen is approaching the title. Sky Sports commentator and former Formula 1 driver Martin Brundle has spoken out about the dramatic change in the championship following the recent successes of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.
Verstappen has earned 119 of a possible 133 points in the last five races and has cut Piastri`s lead by 60 points over the last four rounds to just 40.
If he continues like this he will be crowned champion. But on some circuits things should be back to normal for McLaren, although there is no doubt that the Red Bull car is generally faster now and Max is in better shape.
McLaren`s trump card is that they are two against one driver, and they need to play this card very well at every Grand Prix, including Abu Dhabi, the expert wrote.
