Diego Simeone mentioned Vinicius from Real Madrid, complaining about the refereeing with Levante. Diego Simeone expressed outrage at the referees during the match with Levante (3:1) in the 12th round of La Liga.
The incident occurred in the second half after referee Jesus Gil Manzano showed a yellow card to an Atlético player. Although the exact moment is not visible on the footage, it probably happened at the end of the match, when Madrid received three yellow cards: Molina in the 84th minute, Llorente in the 87th and Jimenez in the 90th.
After one of the cards, according to Movistar subtitles, Atlético`s head coach said to Manzano: Hey, why are you whistling! Hey, calm down! Calm down! Yellow for that. . . Then he shook his head and added: They wouldn’t show Vinicius!
Simeone then repeated the same words about the Real Madrid winger, looking at the reserve referee.
