Montoya isn`t counting out Hamilton for the title. The former Formula 1 driver believes that Lewis Hamilton can challenge for the championship if Ferrari can fix the problems and make their car a little faster:

In terms of speed, Ferrari is not that far behind McLaren. They`re probably just a couple of car upgrades short of rectifying the situation - and right now they`re two steps behind McLaren.
Montoya also assessed the situation within McLaren in the context of the rivalry between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri:
Oscar`s only chance is to regularly defeat Lando in qualifying. Because if he manages to do this often enough, he can psychologically destroy Lando. But if Lando stays in the distance for the next three or four Grand Prix, his chances for the title will be very high. I think that it is Norris who will dominate the distance of the season.
