More control, easier to play aggressively, the ball sits better on the racket. Techniques and strikes fail less often, especially when the opponent hits hard. That is, it is easier to add acceleration, easier to increase the pace - in short, everything is done more freely. These conditions, it seems to me, have played a key role today. Against Comesaña you need to play aggressively, put pressure on him, because he has fast feet, he moves well, changes his rhythm, his serve is strong. Today, thanks to the slower conditions, I was able to take it well and attack from it. This added pressure to him and it helped me.
– In the next match you will have a rematch with Alcaraz himself. You looked great with him at Wimbledon. What did you take away from that match?
– That I need to continue working, that this is the path that is needed, the level to which I need to move, that I managed to fight.
