Marc-Andre Fleury shared his emotions after his farewell game with the Penguins. The 40-year-old goalie, who announced his retirement, previously signed a tryout contract with Pittsburgh. He played his farewell game for the club where he spent most of his NHL career (2003 to 2017) and won the Stanley Cup three times.
The Canadian entered the third period of the exhibition match with Columbus (4:1) and stopped all 8 shots from the opponent. He was recognized as the first star of the meeting.
