Brown said he was ready for a heart attack in anticipation of the title of McLaren. The Executive Director of McLaren said that with great experience he followed the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as a result of which his team won the designers` Cup.
The worst two hours in my life. Lando [Norris] brilliantly piloted. We were unlucky with the start of Oscar [Piastic, from which Max Ferstappen crashed], but the team acted impeccably. Pit Stop went great. I think I was the only one for a heart attack for about two hours, ”Brown said.
Zak also shared his opinion about the performance of Lando Norris, who previously stated that he intends to become the best next year:
He helped us out in this race. I spent it without a single mistake, we were worried about the emergence of a security machine. I worried about everything, and he drove impeccably. Next year, we will try to repeat the success in the Cup of the designers and take the victory in the personal standings. I will let Oscar and Lando deal with it.
He [Norris] will make every effort. And taking into account his current dynamics of development, I would not put against him.
Brown separately emphasized the role of the leader of the team Andrea Stella:
He is an incredible leader. He sets an example to others, gives the authority of [necessary] to people, he is well versed in matters of technology and motivates everyone to give all his best. Today you could observe this.
