The second-seeded tennis tournament of the XX Allianz Cup Tatiana Garbin of Italy qualified with ease in the quarterfinals of the competition in Sofia with 100,000 dollars prize money. Continues and fourth placed Croatian Petra Martic.
Garbin overcame the last remaining qualifier Yasmina Tinich Croatia with 6:1, 6:2 for about one hour game of the first court of TC Levski. Italian veteran led 3:0 in the first set against 19-year-old rival, and then easily completed so far in its favor. The second began with exchanged breakthroughs, but a finalist from the Allianz Cup 2009, it entered into a series and win the match routine.
"Just outside it seemed that the match is easy. Put a lot of effort to win. I hope to win here, although the tournament looks stronger than last year. Allianz Cup is my favorite race and no chance I'm here, not the tournament in my hometown Mestre, "said 33-year-old Tatiana Garbin.
Martic did beat Spaniard Lourdes Dominguez Lino, a 6:2, 6:1. Croatian slender make much less effort to win than in the first round when play three sets against Victoria Tomova.
