The football union of Serbia was punished for the behavior of fans at the matches of the League of Nations. UEFA revealed violations in the actions of fans at the games of the Serbian team against Switzerland (November 15) and Denmark (November 18).
During the match in Zurich, fans used pyrotechnics, threw various objects, hung out banners of an unsportsmanlike nature, demonstrated racist and/or discriminatory behavior, and also damaged the stadium and structures.
ESPN notes that during the game in Switzerland, Serbian fans tried to burn the flag of Albania.
The facts of racist and/or discriminatory behavior and the use of pyrotechnics were detected during the game of Serbia with Denmark.
The football union in total was fined 173 thousand euros, the next home game of the national team will be held with partially closed stands, and two exit - without Serbian fans.
