Brown called on F-1 to create a collegium of professional stewards. The Executive Director of McLaren joined the calls to revise the work of judges in Formula 1. Many teams urge FIA to teach people to work as judges and prepare for work as stewards in races.
I think, this winter we need to stop and think over everything. There are too many fines in Formula 1, too often we see inconsistency in making decisions by stewards.
I believe, we all understand that we need people who will work with stewards on an ongoing basis. I do not blame the current stewards, but I do not think that they are determined to succeed in working in this area. So we need full -time, professional stewards, ”said Brown.
