Vilnev spoke about the career path of Kolapinto and Bortoleto. Formula-1 champion 1997 believes that the Argentine missed his chance to immediately get into the championship as the main racer, having failed the ending of the season.
Kolapinto spent great the first races, but then he fell into an accident several times and defeated his car. I don`t know what exactly awaits him in the future. It remains a quick pilot. But in the last races of last season, he showed that so far he does not always know how to correctly assess the situation.
Vilnev was also asked what he thinks about the prospects of the current formula-2 champion Gabriela Bortoleto, who is preparing to spend the debut season in the F-1 as part of the Longer:
I have no idea what to expect from the on-board. The results in Formula-2 are not a good landmark and have never been to them. So before the racer of Formula-2 begins to perform in Formula 1, it makes no sense to form expectations. In addition, these days riders, rising up the formula ladder, are not so experienced.
It is difficult to understand how to rise to the highest step of the racing world, so quickly get into the main world series at such a young age and almost without experience.
