Arina Sabalenko told how she survived the death of Konstantin Koltsov. Former hockey player and coach Salavat Yulaev died in March last year; they had been dating since 2020.
To be honest, I don’t know how I [kept playing]. My team was a little nervous about this situation [with the ex-boyfriend] and they hired a psychologist.
When I started working with him, he asked: How do you deal with so much drama in life? And at that moment I realized: Okay, I don’t need a psychologist. I can handle it myself.
I think that firstly, you cannot control others - only yourself, your behavior and your attitude towards things, and you just need to focus on the positive aspects.
