Spalletti, Shevchenko and de Rossi will become members of the Italian Football Hall of Fame. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced new members of the Hall in various categories.
In the Coach category, the Hall will induct Luciano Spalletti, who coached the Italian national team, won Serie A with Napoli and worked with Inter, Roma and other Italian clubs.
In the Italian footballer category, Daniele de Rossi was awarded, a world champion in the Italian national team who played in Serie A only for Roma.
In the Foreign Footballer category, the newest member of the Hall of Fame is Andriy Shevchenko, Italian champion, Champions League winner and Ballon d`Or winner with Milan.
The Italian champion of Inter and Juventus, Roberto Boninsegna, was awarded in the Veteran category, and Ariedo Braida, former general and sporting director of Milan, was awarded in the Manager category.
The official ceremony will take place on November 11.
