Liverpool are looking to extend Ibrahima Konate`s contract. The current defender`s agreement runs until 2026.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, negotiations on a new contract continue as planned, the club is confident that an agreement will be reached.
The management and coaching staff are happy with the Frenchman and want him to become part of a long-term project.
This season, Konate played 12 matches in the Premier League, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist. The player is currently recovering from a knee injury.
