The Lakers broke their 3-game losing streak. I`m very proud of our team. They responded well to my comments. I asked them to forget about the past, even the very recent one, and move on. They took my advice, as had happened before.
With the exception of one possession when we used the zone after a timeout, we traded from 1st to 5th positions the entire match. This requires physical effort and communication on site. I think our guys did a great job.
Sometimes we would spread out a little and they would start catching us with fake screens. This happened several times, we made a mistake with the opposition, and they managed to get inside. But overall we did a good job, covering the court and not opening up too much, ” head coach JJ Redick commented on the team’s performance.
