San Jose hosted a legends match featuring Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton. On November 24, before the NHL regular season match against Buffalo, San Jose will retire Joe Thornton`s No. 19.
A member of the Sharks from 2005 to 2020, Thornton ranks first in team history in assists (804), power-play points (402) and plus-minus (+161);second in all-time points (1, 055), third in games played (1, 104) and fourth in goals (251).
In anticipation of this event, San Jose held a match of legends - in addition to Thornton, Patrick Marleau, Evgeni Nabokov, Dany Heatley, Dan Boyle and Joe Pavelski played.
