Chelsea hope Cole Palmer`s injury is not serious. The Chelsea midfielder limped as he left Old Trafford after the match with Manchester United in the 10th round of the Premier League (1:1).
During stoppage time in the second half of the Premier League match (1:1), Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez hit Palmer in the knee with his spikes. Referee Robert Jones did not send off the Argentine, but showed him a yellow card.
The London club hopes that the footballer has avoided serious injury and will be able to take part in the game against Arsenal. Cole is expected to undergo a scan to determine the exact extent of his injury.
The Chelsea - Arsenal match will take place on November 10 and will start at 19:30 Moscow time.
