Pau Kubarsi entered the match against Real Sociedad wearing a protective helmet. The Barcelona defender started the game of the 13th round of La Liga, which takes place in San Sebastian, in the starting lineup (0:0, first half).
On Wednesday, Kubarsi received 10 stitches in his cheek after Serbian defender Uros Spajic hit Pau in the face with spikes in the Champions League match against Red Star (5-2).  
The participation of the 17-year-old player in today`s match was in question, however, in the end, Kubarsi appeared on the field from the first minutes wearing a special helmet.
