Minnesota center Rudy Gobert was ejected from the court in the first half of Saturday`s 128-135 win over Oklahoma after he intentionally tripped Kenrick Williams.
The incident occurred with 9:22 left in the second quarter when Williams tried to make a lay-up in the pass with resistance from Gobert and fell to the floor. Gobert tripped over Williams and, while on the floor, stuck out his leg in an attempt to knock his opponent down.
A small scuffle ensued between the players, after which Gobert received a second-degree unsportsmanlike foul and was ejected. Williams received a technical foul.
The Frenchman finished the match with 6 points and 4 rebounds in 9 minutes.
