Carlos Alcaraz told where he watched the Euro final after winning Wimbledon.
The match was difficult to watch. First, I went to take doping tests - I looked at them on my phone. At home I watched 20 minutes on TV. “We managed to see the first goal there, ” Alcaraz said in an interview with EFE.
After that, he was forced to get into a taxi, where the driver displayed the broadcast on the tablet, but it was 3-4 minutes late.
When the English scored a goal, we drove past the pub - and all the English fans were celebrating. They spoiled it for us.
The second goal was scored as soon as I arrived. I only saw him and didn’t know whether it was offside or not, so I didn’t get out of the taxi until they confirmed that everything was fine.
The Wimbledon champion watched the end of the match in a separate room in the restaurant and went out to the champions` dinner after the award ceremony for Spain.
One of the first things I did after the match was finished was to write to Alvaro Morata and wish him good luck and a lot of strength.
The match caught me between the TV and the iPad. I couldn`t sit down and concentrate on watching it, but I was overjoyed.
