Former New York Cosmos forward Evgeniy Starikov spoke about the salaries of football players in the USA.  



– About 70 thousand. For a football player’s salary, this means nothing at all. College graduates receive this in the first 2-3 years after graduation.

In the USL, only two players could receive an unlimited salary, for the rest the ceiling was 120 thousand dollars. In MLS the ceiling is 450 thousand plus 3 players with any salary, ” Starikov said.

Starikov finished his career in 2019. His last club was Indy Ileven.
