The head of the Polish Tennis Association, Miroslaw Skrzypczynski, was accused of child molestation and harassment.
First, anonymous accusations against him appeared in the press. Skrzypczynski denied them.
After this, Polish MP Katarzyna Kotula spoke. She claims Skrzypczynski harassed and molested her while he was working as a coach when she was 13 years old.
He touched my genitals, breasts, buttocks. Over the course of three years, Miroslaw Skrzypczynski sexually assaulted me at least a dozen times, ” Kotula said.
According to her, other girls in the tennis club encountered the same behavior from Skrzypczynski. She also claims he made nasty comments about girls and said that if a woman says no, she really means yes.
Later, another woman named Eva Cicek came forward and claims that when she was working as a waitress at a sporting event, he invited her to try his eggs during breakfast, and then talked about her breasts and said that he would like to drink milk from them.
Polish No. 1s Iga Szwiatek and Hubert Hurkacz issued statements calling for an investigation and expressing support for victims of abuse.
