Tommy Paul shared his emotions after defeating Jack Draper.
The American won 6:3, 5:7, 6:4 in the quarterfinals in London.
I definitely played well. I really love grass courts.
I knew it would be a battle - matches against Jack are always difficult. He played amazing tennis. I`m very glad that I was able to move on.
His presentation is not very pleasant to deal with. He plays very aggressively and doesn’t let you play according to your plan. But for me the key was to stick to my style - I think I succeeded.
Today I didn`t feel like I was seeded (Paul is the fifth seed - Sports). This has simplified everything a little, and I will happily watch the next match and study the opponent.
Paul will face Sebastian Korda in the semi-finals.
