Artem Batrak believes that Matvey Michkov`s good play for Sochi can improve his chances at the NHL draft.
– This is good for Matvey, he will play a lot. The bad thing is that the season will end early for him. Playing in the KHL for two months is wonderful.
With all his talent, there was no place for him in SKA; three to five minutes per match was no good. Michkov had already outgrown the level of the VHL; he scored a goal per game on average.
If he plays well for Sochi, this will seriously increase his chance of second or third place in the NHL draft, ” said the KHL TV commentator.
