Mattias Ekström won the 2023 Race of Champions.

This victory was Ekström`s fourth in the competition.

In the final, world rallycross champion Ekström defeated Mick Schumacher - even the problem with a fire in the car`s cockpit near the gearbox did not stop the Swedish driver.

In turn, in the semi-finals, Ekström was faster than Thierry Neuville, and Schumacher managed to defeat Sebastian Vettel.

Last year`s winner of the Race of Champions, Sebastien Loeb, dropped out in the first round of the competition this time, losing to Thierry Neuville.
