Perez spoke about the most experienced driver in Formula 1 history.
Red Bull driver Sergio Perez shared his thoughts on the contract extension between 42-year-old Fernando Alonso - F1 Grand Prix and season record holder - and Aston Martin.

I have enormous respect for Fernando. Not because he can fly until he`s 45 or 50 years old. The question is the level of motivation he shows for this sport after so many years.

I believe that riders can compete as much as they want - there are no physical restrictions. I think it`s more about motivation.

There`s so much racing these days and Formula 1 really takes a lot out of your life. You give everything to the sport, and I really respect Fernando for doing it for so long, ” Sergio said.
