Kevin Hayes called Connor McDavid the best hockey player in history.
It`s crazy to me because we have generational talent. I think Connor is the best player to ever play hockey.
With all due respect to Wayne Gretzky, I don`t think anyone else will ever be as good as McDavid. “No one will ever have the same skill set as Connor, ” the Philadelphia forward said.
McDavid, who plays for Edmonton, made his NHL debut in 2015. The Canadian scored 789 (280+509) points in 537 regular season matches.
Gretzky played 20 seasons in the NHL and recorded 2, 857 points (894+1, 963) in 1, 487 games.
